Missing child alert issued for Orlando girl



ORLANDO, Fla. –

A missing child alert was issued Wednesday for a 13-year-old Orlando girl who was last seen two weeks ago.

Jayonna Fields was last seen on Oct. 17 near Howard Middle School at 800 E. Robinson St. in Orlando.  Details surrounding her disappearance, however, have not been released.

Officials told Local 6 News that Jayonna ran away from home and has had contact with her parents at some point during her disappearance. 

Jayonna is a black girl, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and and 120 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Orlando police or 911.
