Macon Police looking for mother and two missing children

MACON, MO. — UPDATED at 6:25 p.m. – Macon police informed KTVO Thursday evening that the three missing people from Macon have been found safe and sound in Jefferson City. No further details were available at this time.


The Macon Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the search for three missing persons.

Authorities are searching for Keli L. Hayes, a black female, age 24, 5’05”, 134 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes; Cameron A. Wallace, a black, male, age 3; and Keira Hayes, a black,  female, age 1.

Keli L. Hayes, the mother of Cameron and Kiera, was last seen leaving Jefferson City Wednesday night around 7 en route to Columbia driving a white 1996 Pontiac Bonneville with Missouri plate number CF8B5J.

Hayes is bipolar and is believed to be out of medication. She has told family members in the past that she will take the children and do harm to herself and her children.

Anyone seeing Keli L. Hayes or her vehicle, or that has information regarding her whereabouts, is asked to call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Macon Police Department at 660-385-2195.
