Man sentenced to 15 years for child molestation

John Adam Taylor, 32, 1935 Spratlin Mill Road, Hull, was also sentenced to five years probation and fined $100.

Other actions filed recently in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Madison County include:

•Ryan Cole Blalock, 21, 2314 Tobacco Road, Augusta, was sentenced to three years confinement, seven years probation and was fined $387 for burglary. He was also sentenced to three years confinement for possession of tools for the commission of a crime and one year confinement for obstruction of officers. A charge of failure to appear was dismissed.

•Crystal Lea Norton, 24, 336 Thomas Road, Waco, was sentenced to one year probation for reckless driving (reduced from DUI) and speeding.

•Scott Ashley Denham, 29, 701 Parkview Road, Winterville, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $950 for possession of marijuana — less than an ounce.

•Melissa W. McDougal, 40, 1951 Lane Creek Road, Bogart, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $362 for drugs not in original container.

•Timothy Don Quarles, 28, 9455 Jefferson Road, Athens, was sentenced to one year probation and was fined a total of $1,400 for battery under the Family Violence Act and interference with a 911 call. Prosecutors chose not to pursue a charge of cruelty to children in the third degree at this time.

•Bonnie Clair Stith, 31, 3443 Five Forks Road, Bowman, was sentenced to one year probation and fined a total of $675 for public drunkenness and obstruction of officers.

•Roy Dwayne Ruis, 23, 853 Diamond Lane, Royston, was sentenced to five years confinement and five years probation for two counts of theft by receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to five years confinement, 10 years probation for arson in the first degree. He was sentenced to five years confinement and five years probation for four counts of theft by taking. He was fined a total of $2,460.

•Thomas Jerry Haley, 62, 97 Grady Lane, Danielsville, was sentenced to five years probation for two counts of criminal damage to property in the second degree, one count of theft by taking and one count of interference with government property. He also received one year probation for public indecency, obstruction of officers and disorderly conduct. He was fined a total of $1,550.

•Leigh Ann White, 23, 1303 Mt. Olive Road, Hartwell, was sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $185 for burglary.

•Rachel Lou Epps, 30, 1857 Pine Valley Farm Road, Comer, was sentenced to five years probation and was fined $512 for possession of methamphetamine. Prosecutors chose not to pursue charges of possession of tools for the commission of a crime, pedestrian under the influence and battery on an unborn child.

•Phillip Matthew Couture, 30, 178 Savannah Avenue, Athens, was sentenced to seven years probation and was fined $975 for possession of MDMA (ecstasy). Prosecutors chose not to pursue convictions for possession of a schedule II controlled substance and DUI.

•Steven Lamar Anderson, 27, P.O. Box 481, Hull, was sentenced to seven years probation and was fined $100 for theft by taking.

•Christopher James Evans, 26, 1620 Lucky Jones Road, Hull, was sentenced to five years probation and was fined $185 for criminal damage to property in the second degree.

•Frazier Barnett, 52, 200 Howard Drive, Athens, was sentenced to five years probation for two counts of theft by receiving stolen property. He was also fined $775. A charge of failure to appear was dismissed.

•Xavier Fanchon Guest, 25, 170 Peachtree Lane, Athens, was sentenced to three years confinement for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of firearm/knife during a crime or crime attempt. He was also sentenced to one year confinement for obstruction of officers.

•Howard Antonio Bailey, 33, 225 James Spring Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to three years confinement for possession of marijuana (more than an ounce) and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

•Joey Wayne Bishop, 42, 727 Bishop Carey Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to five years probation and was fined $725 for possession of tools for the commission of a crime. A charge of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed.

•Jerry Dwaine Fowler, 33, 3583 Smithonia Road, Comer, was sentenced to 10 years probation and was fined $725 for burglary.

•Frank Jerry Crews, 42, 1652 Cornish Mt. Road, Covington, was sentenced to 10 years probation and was fined $1,060 for five counts of identity theft fraud when using or possessing information of another.

•Verlin Fernandus Smith, 21, 120 Almond Drive, Athens, was sentenced to seven years probation and was fined $725 for theft by receiving stolen property (reduced from burglary).

•Penny Louise Bishop, 42, 114 Sammy Haggard Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to three years confinement, seven years probation and fined a total of $2,800 for two counts of possession of methamphetamine. Prosecutors chose not to pursue convictions for possession of drug-related objects/equipment and driving on improper registration.

•Dawn McCurry, 40, 210 Wood-Glenn Drive, Woodstock, was sentenced to seven years probation and fined $860 for three counts of forgery in the first degree. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on a charge of possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

•Nathan Christopher Miller, 44, 525 West Hancock, Athens, was sentenced to 10 years probation and 200 hours of community service for theft by receiving stolen property.

•Matthew Darrell Drake, 28, 63 Dry Creek Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to three years probation for possession of hydrocodone and one year probation for drugs not in original container. He was fined a total of $1,312. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction for a charge of possession, manufacture or distribution of marijuana.

•Edward Duke Brady, 50, 1181 Willow Ridge, Athens, was sentenced to five years probation and was fined $975 for possession of methamphetamine. He was also fined $280 for speeding. Prosecutors chose not to seek convictions on charges of driving while license suspended or revoked, knowingly driving motor vehicle on a suspended or canceled license and failing to follow windshield and wiper requirements.

•Bernard Travis Appling, 54, 277 Valley Road, Colbert, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $387 for receipt, possession or transfer of firearm by convicted felon. Prosecutors chose not to pursue a conviction on a charge of reckless conduct.

•Brandon Lee White, 27, 850 Waddell Street, Athens, was sentenced to five years probation and was fined $975 for possession of cocaine (reduced from possession of cocaine with intent to distribute). A charge of failure to appear was dismissed.

•Christopher Lewis Roberts, 25, 2410 Hardeman Morris Road, Colbert, was sentenced to two years confinement, eight years probation and was fined $725 for burglary.

•Tony James Tucker, 39, 543 Rogers Mill Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to five years probation and fined $975 for possession of methamphetamine. Prosecutors chose not to pursue convictions on charges of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and crossing the guard line with contraband.

•Jean Annette Richard, 53, 134 Alcorn Road, Colbert, was sentenced to three years probation for terroristic threats and acts and two counts of obstruction of officers. She was also sentenced to one year probation for two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree, and one count of simple battery and public indecency. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on a charge of criminal trespass. She was fined a total of $1,600.

•Evelyn Danielle Brown Vogt, 29, 163 Ponderosa Drive, Athens, was sentenced to five years probation and was fined a total of $860 on three counts of forgery in the second degree. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on three counts of theft by taking.

•Timothy Elton Anderson, 45, 7106 Hwy. 72 W, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and was fined $337 for criminal trespass (reduced from criminal damage to property in the second degree). Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on a charge of obstruction of officers.
•Daniel Justin Turner, 32, 28 Almond Drive, Comer, was sentenced to one year probation and was fined $1,350 for reckless driving (reduced from DUI). Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on charges of DUI, open container violation and turn signal violation.

•Delmonte Dijon Carter, 22, 7188 Hwy. 29, Hull, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $462 for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana (reduced from possession, manufacture, distribution of marijuana).

•Tonya Fowler, 46, 308 Woodview Drive, Winder, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $405 for drugs not in original container. A charge of failure to appear was dismissed.

•Christina Michelle Roach, 38, 683 Oak Grove Road, Athens, was sentenced to one year probation and fined a total of $745 for drugs not in original container, failure to stop for stop sign and giving false information to a law officer. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on a charges of possession of a schedule III controlled substance and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Javonte Miguel Tate, 22, 120 Hickman Drive Apt. 5, Athens, was sentenced to 21 days confinement for obstruction of officers. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on a charge of disorderly conduct. Three counts of failure to appear were dismissed.

•James Luther Weaver, 27, 310 Taylor Road, Lexington, was sentenced to 90 days confinement for theft by shoplifting.

•Patrick James Nerber, 44, 5257 Hwy. 29, Colbert, was sentenced to one year probation and fined a total of $270 for violation of the Family Violence Order and obstruction of officers.

•Randy Eugene Lee, 34, 322 Poole Road, Homer, was sentenced to one year probation, 240 hours of community service and was fined $965 for DUI. Prosecutors chose not to seek a conviction on charges of criminal trespass, weaving over roadway, open container violation and tire requirements.
