Details:
The Madison Police Department is seeking the community’s help in locating a missing child.

Lanita A. Sanders-Edwards, age 9, left her Troy Drive home around 7:00 a.m. this morning.

It is not known where she went.

She is described as: 4’8″, 135 lbs., with black hair worn in two French braid ponytails. She wears red glasses, and is likely wearing black pants and a black shirt.

Anyone with information on Lanita’s whereabouts is asked to call 911. At this time, there is no information to suggest that she is the victim of a crime.
