Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 Office Makes Successful Arrest in …
The Woodlands, TX (Saturday, November 10, 2012) – The Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 office received a Cybertip from a popular on-line photo sharing website in regards to child pornography being uploaded to their servers. The site provided times and dates that the image uploads took place. Through investigation, the Constable office identified a suspected address on Glade Bank Place in The Woodlands.
A search warrant was executed on October 22, 2012 at the listed residence and contact was made with the suspect Matthew Klammer. As a result of the investigation, deputies recovered sufficient evidence to charge Klammer with multiple counts of Promotion of Child Pronography. An arrest warrant was issued for Klammer, he was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Montgomery County jail on $120,000 bond.
Efficient arrests are being made. “The Constable Precinct 3 office is seeking online child predators. We are making strides against these criminals who participate in this type of activity. We are assisting the community, and helping the children in our community is the primary focus,” said Constable Ryan Gable. “My agency has been successful due in large part to the support we have received from The Montgomery County Commisioner’s Court.”
Precinct 2 Commissioner Craig Doyal accompanied deputies as an observer on the search warrant to get a first hand look at the efforts of law enforcement. “This is the first time I have been out on a warrant call. I was very impressed about the coordinated efforts of the Constable office,” said Doyal. “All law enforcement units came together and were cued in on the situation. They successfully got an alleged sexual predator off the street.”
