Poplar Bluff man jailed on child molestation charges

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

Police say a Poplar Bluff man was jailed Saturday after being accused of molesting two young girls.

Joshua Summers, 29, of Poplar Bluff was taken to the Butler County Jail Saturday on a Butler County warrant for two counts of child molestation first degree.

Capt. David Sutton with the Poplar Bluff Police Department says the warrant stems from a complaint filed with the Poplar Bluff Police Department in June 2012.

Sutton says the complaint alleged that in February 2012, Joshua Summers molested two female victims, ages four and six.

Bond for Summers was set at $300,000 cash only.
